This is almost sad...

I usually use more data than this, but for whatever reason, this month, I stayed in range of Wi-Fi to the point where I used less than a gigabyte of mobile data.
Somehow, that just feels wrong! It also means that the last day before I get charged for the next cycle? No WiFi that day! Let's burn some data...

Once more, into the breach!

Nature is funny. 🙂

Because it's Metal!

The Crazy Times...

I think, years from now, we're going to look back at these days and call them "The Crazy Times."
It's not just because of Trump, but that sure as hell has a lot to do with it.
This week, a candidate running for Congress in Montana assaulted a reporter from the Guardian, body-slamming him to the ground and punching him. He got elected.
Somehow, the high-school bullies are now in charge of things, and so far, there's not much push-back from the rest of us. When that change happens, things are going to get ugly.

Backup the Data...

One of the things you want to do, you really have to do, when you have computers, is backing up the data to a repository you can trust.
Right now, that's a big external hard-drive.
Fire up the command-line, and cp -auv * //media/removable/WD6, and just let it go...
Except, I forgot how many flash-drives I've acquired over the years.
And because I'm paranoid about data, I always copy something on each one.
This is going to take a while.
